No vague promises. No complicated explanations. Just clear answers to what people most often want to know before getting started.

About the Program

Nipapu Coluri is a structured educational program focused on emotional spending awareness. It helps you identify the emotional triggers — such as boredom, stress, or celebration — that often precede spending decisions, and it teaches you to build small pause practices into your daily routine to create space between feeling and action.

It is not financial advice. It is not therapy. It is a practical, self-directed program grounded in behavioral science concepts, designed for everyday use.

The program is for anyone who has noticed a pattern of spending that feels driven by emotion rather than deliberate choice. That might look like buying things when bored, stressed, or celebrating. It might look like a cart full of items you do not remember deciding to buy.

You do not need to be in financial difficulty to benefit. The program is equally useful for people who are financially comfortable but want to make more conscious choices, and for people who are actively trying to reduce unnecessary spending.

No. Budgeting addresses what you spend. This program addresses why you spend — specifically in emotional contexts. The two can work alongside each other, but they operate at different levels. A budget tells you the limit. This program helps you understand the internal pressures that push against that limit.

Financial therapy is a clinical service delivered by a licensed therapist with training in both mental health and financial planning. This program is educational, not clinical. It does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or personalized professional advice.

If you are experiencing significant financial anxiety, trauma related to money, or mental health challenges, we would encourage you to also speak with a qualified professional. This program is a complement to, not a replacement for, professional support when needed.

Using the Program

The daily practices in Phase One take around five minutes. The pause tools in Phase Two take seconds to use, once learned. The weekly reflection in all phases takes approximately fifteen minutes.

The program is intentionally designed to fit into an already full life, not to require a separate block of time each day.

Yes. The program is self-directed and has no fixed timeline. Phase One, which focuses on observation, continues until you feel you have a clear picture of your trigger patterns — for some people that is two weeks, for others it is longer. There is no penalty for moving slowly, and moving slowly often produces better results than rushing through the material.

This is a normal part of any habit-building process. The program includes guidance on what to do when the practice lapses — which is not to restart from the beginning, but to return without judgment and continue from where you left off. Gaps in practice are themselves useful data about your patterns.

No prior knowledge is needed. The program uses plain language throughout. Where concepts from behavioral science are introduced, they are explained from the ground up. The goal is understanding, not academic literacy.
